Do you build fiberglass or vinyl liner pools?
No. We build custom concrete (gunite) pools only. We chose to leave fiberglass and vinyl behind because concrete lasts longer, handles North Carolina clay and heat better, and can be built to any shape.
How long does a build take?
It depends on weather, permits and your design. We give you a schedule before we start and keep you posted at every step.
How much does a CPC pool cost?
Custom concrete pools start at $64,999 with The Kidney. Your price depends on size, features, finishes and your yard, so the free estimate is the fastest way to a real number.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, through our financing partner Lyon Financial. We don't offer in-house financing, but we're happy to point you in the right direction.
Can I see a pool before I buy?
Yes. Our 5-acre showroom in Denver, NC has four finished pools you can walk around, touch and compare before you sign anything.
Do you offer pool maintenance?
We don't run a maintenance service. Every CPC pool comes with a start-up, a supplies starter kit and pool school, so you know exactly how to take care of it.
What is gunite, and is it different from shotcrete?
Both are sprayed concrete. Gunite is mixed with water at the nozzle; shotcrete arrives pre-mixed. For a residential pool there's no meaningful difference in strength or price, and we choose based on the job.
Are your designs custom?
Yes. Every CPC pool is custom concrete. We also offer four signature packages (The Kidney, EJ Special, Cheater Spa and The Bling) that give you a proven starting point at a better price.
Do you do decks, patios or other work without a pool?
No. Decking, landscaping and other work are part of a full pool build, not separate jobs.
